• Bread & Breakfast Hostel

The Concordia Hostel in Bucharest offers disadvantaged young people practical learning.

Opened in 2018, the Concordia Bread and Breakfast Hostel in Bucharest’s Old Town has since been a cosy and friendly place to stay in the Romanian capital. The hostel is a socio-economic project designed to help integrate teenagers and young adults with limited prospects on the labour market.

Alongside the permanent staff, up to seven young people from disadvantaged social backgrounds work at the hostel. They are supported on their journey towards an independent and self-determined life free from exclusion. In addition, up to ten further programme participants have the opportunity to undertake a work placement at the hostel.

The young people can undertake vocational training or further education at the same time whilst still receiving a regular monthly income. All revenue generated by the hostel goes towards other social projects run by Concordia.

The Bread & Breakfast Hostel

The Bread & Breakfast Hostel is located in the old town of Bucharest, on Petru Cercel Street and close to Carol Park and Dealul Mitropoliei. It is a historic location for Concordia, as this is where Concordia Romania's first headquarters were.

Free WiFi, rooms with single or double beds and wardrobes await you in the hostel. A hairdryer is available in the shared bathroom. Our 24-hour reception means you can come and go at any time. Our guests can use both the communal kitchen and the sun terrace. For a small surcharge we can put together a breakfast for you in the kitchen.

Unfortunately, our hostel is currently closed.
